When you contact us

We collect the name, email address, selected interest and message you submit through the contact form. We use this information to respond to you. If you select the film-updates checkbox, we use Kit to manage your subscription and send occasional email updates about Making the Law Real. Kit may send a confirmation email before an automated sequence begins. You can ask us to stop by replying to an update or using the contact form.

How the form is handled

Website forms are processed and stored by Netlify on behalf of Kauri Films. Hosting and anti-spam services may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. Please do not send sensitive personal information through the form.

Video and donations

The Wistia video player loads when you choose to play it. Wistia may then process device and usage information and use cookies under its own policies. Donations take place on the Southern Documentary Fund campaign page, outside this website. We do not collect payment-card information here. Those services operate under their own privacy policies.

Sharing and downloads

The sharing controls use your device’s sharing or clipboard features. Downloading a graphic does not sign you up for updates. We use Google Analytics to understand website visits, campaign referrals, video starts, download clicks and clicks to the Southern Documentary Fund campaign. Contact-form names, email addresses and message contents are not sent to Google Analytics. Analytics reports do not tell us who completed a donation on SDF. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in this site’s tag configuration.
